I’ve researched & written so many articles about Ed & Lorraine I feel like I know them myself. This literally hiya my heart! She was such a loving caring person to everyone she came into contact with. She truly cares for the families she was trying to help! The paranormal world as well as the regular works will sure miss her! We will never be the same without her. Such an amazing woman. My condolences to the family and friends. You will all definitely be in my prayers. I hope that you can find some peace knowing that she and Ed have now been reunited. I know it brings some peace to me. My deepest sympathies.

In a way, she and Ed did touch my life as well as others here and the author of this article. I was a younger boy when the Amityville case came about and was lucky enough to have my father teaching me about the paranormal field as well. I was 10 back then. He freelanced through the Diocese of Rockville Center and was asked to investigate as well as other investigators. Well, long story short, he landed up with Ed and Lorraine onsite. Very interesting stuff. Since then my interest only peaked until I started my own groups and investigations. My first one was at eage thirteen. Using nothing but a pencil, pad and cassette recorder.

They were both, as stated, pioneers and trailblazers of their time, as well as bring the field of the paranormal “out of the closet” should I say. Back then it was a big hush!

I thank Her, Ed and my parents for being so open minded!
