Presentation: A Devil’s Playground: The Intersection of Neuropsychology, Alleged Demonic Possession, and Popular Media – Ghost City Tours at 12:30pm-1:15pm
Ari Spence (she/they), formerly Arianna T. Sotos, J.D., graduated summa cum laude from St. Thomas Aquinas College with a B.S. in psychology and minors in English and criminal justice. They were inducted into several honor societies, including Psi Chi, Pi Gamma Mu, Alpha Phi Sigma, Sigma Tau Delta, and Alpha Chi. After completing their bachelor’s degree, they pursued studies at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, focusing on police brutality against emotionally disturbed individuals, sexual violence, and prosecutorial ethics.
Following law school, Ari contributed to the production and development of the Pine Bush UFO & Paranormal Museum, where their experience engaging with researchers and investigators deepened Ari’s academic interest in the paranormal field. Ari has appeared as a guest on the Paranormally Yours and Inquiries of Our Reality podcasts.
