Ryan Goeckner, Christine Daley, Sean Daley

Dr. Ryan Goeckner

Dr. Ryan Goeckner is a cultural anthropologist whose research explores how belief—whether religious, spiritual, or paranormal—shapes health, identity, and human experience. He is the co-host of Beyond the Human, a podcast that asks why so many of us believe in things science can’t explain. Exploring the mysteries that unite us, we use an anthropological approach to examine lived experiences with the unexplained.

You can also find him on social media as Mulder’s Bookshelf, where he reviews and recommends non-fiction books about paranormal experiences.
