Reality and Spirit Contact: The Supernatural Turned Natural Through a Defining of Reality with Ron Yacovetti, Cherie Rathman & Tony Rathman – Hotel Gettysburg, Eisenhower Room, at 3:00pm-3:45pm
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Lourdes Gonzalez is a New Jersey-based paranormal investigator with a strong commitment to collaboration and community. Though she is experienced in a number of investigative techniques, Lourdes’ favorite tool is still a simple digital recorder. A twenty-year-long career as a court reporter provides her with a unique aptitude for recognizing and analyzing linguistic variation, making her a particularly skilled specialist in the field of anomalous audio capture and interpretation. Lourdes’ newest endeavor is Instrumental Transcommunication (ITC) using a method known as Staticom, which she developed alongside Ron Yacovetti, Cherie Rathman, and Tony Rathman. Her philosophical approach to the paranormal is rooted in analytic idealism, which allows her to adhere to scientific fact without the explanatory gap that troubles physicalists. Some of Lourdes’ favorite places to investigate are the Shanley Hotel, White Hill Mansion, the Queen Mary, and the Oman house in California.
