Rosemary Ellen Guiley, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2019, just ten days after her 69th birthday. She was a world-renowned researcher & investigator in the paranormal, UFO and metaphysical fields.
Her passing was sudden and unexpected, and it came as a shock to the paranormal community.
Rosemary was truly prolific in all the work she did in the field. She was noted for her writing on the paranormal, spirituality, and the occult. In addition to the amazing work she did, she was also a certified hypnotist. She was also a radio show host. Plus, she was the board director for the “National Museum of Mysteries and Research.” She was also the board director for the “Foundation for Research into Extraterrestrial Encounters.”
Anyone who has dug deep into the paranormal has run into Rosemary’s work at least once. Not only was she knowledgeable, but she authored and co-authored more books than anyone I knew. She wrote over 65 books, which included ten encyclopedias.
Rosemary was also one of the kindest people I ever met. While I only met her a few times, she always made me feel like I was seeing family again. She recorded a message for APS during the Ghost Excavation Conference in Bedford, Pennsylvania in 2017.
While she will be truly missed, her legacy will live on in her amazing contributions to the paranormal field.
Hi. How did Rosemary pass away?
We are not sure. Her family hasn’t announced it. She was ill for some time, but we’re not sure it’s related.
Thanks for the reply. So sad.
Highly suspicious – it’s generally felt the Deep State had something to do with it.
Rosemary was on panel at two of my Egypt conferences and she was lovely to work with, always gracious and kind.
I’m truely sorry, that I had never got to meet Rosemarie! So sure that she will be missed! Prayers goes on for the family that survived!

I met her at the Mothman Fest a long while back. She was VERY nice and was a very good speaker. I have several of her books and was saddened to hear of her passing. RIP

I was honoured to have met this lovely lady twice at the Afterlife conferences in Scottsdale. Her scrying mirror that I bought is still a valuable possession of mine!
I really was very impressed by her kindness and sincerity!
My heartfelt thoughts go out to her family at this time!

With all the cures today, she dies? Come on. This is 2019. GEESH!
I had just googled her name the day before, listening to all available podcasts with her as a guest. She was always so thorough, practical and knowledgeable on all paranormal topics. Quite a shock.
It is extremely too bad to lose a thinker and empathetic person. I don’t believe the death is the result of having deep paranormal interests. It’s just too bad it happened. Gee, Rosemary always looked like a dictionary definition of health.
I don’t think health applies, but if you observe the lives of thinkers and doers of the paranormal: As a rule, their lives are wacky and affected by a lack of financial funds. Spindrift Research speculates a dark force in collective consciousness works to undermine serious investigators of the paranormal. One avenue to sabotage the lives of psi investigators is to cutoff their money sources. Why? So they can’t find the time or do much good other than find ways to pay their living expenses.
